"It doesn't sound as insane as you think!" Well, maybe to someone who isn't in the know about Lumine's unique abilities. "Back where I'm from, we called her the Traveler for a reason. She wasn't originally from Teyvat either."
If anyone was going to figure out how to leave this place, it was going to be her. He knows it seems unconventional to a lot –it was definitely a shock to Thoma the first time he'd heard it. He never imagined there was a whole other existence out there outside of their own, but it turns out they're just a very small piece of a tapestry that spans across many different worlds.
"Although it's a little abrupt she left without announcement or any goodbyes, but she probably didn't trigger it consciously. Maybe her power had manifested without warning from a deep wish or desire..."
He can't blame her. He wants to return to his world quite badly, too, as do they all. He should really be feeling relieved on her behalf.
"Does that mean... Cid Garlond– did he disappear once before? How about anyone else?"
...Lumine really possessed such an amazing power this whole time? He'd no idea...
Knowing that makes him feel... A little bit jealous, if he's being honest. If she did go home, even by accident. He does his best not to let it embitter him, casting the thought aside and addressing Thoma's question instead.
"I'm not certain if anyone else has... I just know that Cid claims to have gone home and returned again with new knowledge of events concerning his home world, and...." Ryunosuke pulls a face. "It, all went quite a bit over my head, I'm not certain I can adequately explain... Much though I'd like to."
Two Travelers... well, three really. Lumine had a twin brother that Thoma has yet to meet, but he never imagined there would be another world-hopper among them.
...Unless it was just a random event that happened to Cid alone without any conscious thought, which it could be. The important thing is that this is all further proof that their worlds remain intact, just out of reach at the moment, and he can breathe a minor sigh of relief, knowing he didn't lose his lord and lady nor his mother.
"Was he always able to move between worlds, or was this a first-time event for him? I'm afraid I don't know him too well, but I'm more eager than before to meet him."
"I honestly couldn't tell you for sure," Ryunosuke says. He's calming down quite a bit now that it's clear Thoma isn't upset with him, even if... He kind of feels like maybe he, Ryunosuke, would deserve that? But this is fine too.
"I'll definitely have to introduce you some time soon. Though you may also run into him, if you're ever by the ironworks... that's where he spends most of his time, I believe. He's... A blacksmith, and a tinkerer of sorts."
"I'll definitely need a blacksmith to patch my spear up after the beatings it's taken. It's not as sturdy as the one I use back home."
His fire is also doing well to eat through parts of it, which makes it less than ideal as a conductor. If only they had better materials... but that's not the point of this conversation. He can tell Ryunosuke is still upset about Lumine, so he tries to placate him further.
"I'm almost completely certain she just went back to Teyvat, so she's better off than us at the moment. It's a good thing for her, and maybe she can even get help now that she's no longer confined to this world."
She's spoken with the archon of Inazuma, who might have better insight on how to open the passageways between worlds. If not that, he knows Lumine wouldn't give up until she rescued all of them.

And talk his ear off probably.
